Core Values

The core values of the Volunteer Council on Freedmen Affairs include:

• Acknowledging,  Accepting and Affirming descendants of US Freedmen are due reparative justice to close the wealth gap between them and other demographics in the United States.

• Strong supportive ideologies in protecting Black Communities, The Black Woman, The Black Man and The Black Child as designed by nature to produce and reproduce strong Black Families.

• Timeless efforts to assist descendants of Freedmen in achieving sustainable economic stability.

• Advocating for safety at the US national level for Freedmen Descendants; and self defense at the family-level.

• Securing narrative freedoms for descendants of Freedmen.

• Publishing Freedmen educational resources that any student can learn truths about Black America.

• Options for natural wellness, medical research designed for melanin dominate persons; and bringing solutions to Freedmen communities for mental illness issues.

• Protecting the rights of Black Parents dealing with government agencies.

• Rehabilitating descendants of Freedmen within the prison systems; and preventing descendants of Freedmen from entering the pipelines to prison.

• Stopping the gentrification of historically Black neighborhoods and townships.

• Removing eco-genecide from all Freedmen Towns and historically Black communities.
